Maldazzar Rivendare was a powerful death knight in the service of the ArchLich Tezzeret Thuzad.

Characteristics

Physical features

A penetrating chill precedes the Maldazzar’s appearance. The shadows deepen, elongating like gnarled, skeletal fingers. The death knight being stands strong and straight-backed, sharp as a dagger, with weathered, hawkish features that might have once been handsome. Dark green, layered plate forming an armor protects the man’s form, evoking something akin to a paladin. He leans on a greatsword of onyx bone and rare metal.

History

In life, Maldazzar Rivendare was a rich landowner in the Orrin empire and a friend to Tezzeret, who convinced him to join the Cult of the Damned. After Tezzeret rebirth, Maldazzar was eventually turned in a death knight by the archlich and became the second in command of the cult, becoming a champion of the undead.
After the first defeat of Tezzeret, Maldazzar held Alterin against the neighboring realms.
It is unknown if Maldazzar is dead or not.
