Danek Ironspar Frozen
The Iron Hearth Inn in Montmend, a mountain-city within the Ice-peak Concord, is owned and operated by two former members of the Explorers' League. Danek Ironspar, known as Grimjaw for the scar that splits his lower lip down to his chin, and Korgan Felldour, his partner, retired from adventuring several decades ago and invested in several businesses together, including the Iron Hearth.
Korgan handles the bookkeeping for the inn, while Danek is known for his presence and his outrageous tales of his days spent exploring dark dungeons and battling dangerous wizards. Despite leaving his life of adventure behind, Danek is proud of his exploits and takes great joy in reliving them through his stories.
Danek secretly maintains contact with several organizations and individuals he knew in his days as an adventurer, providing information and helping young adventuring companies. He fears that revealing the full extent of his dealings to Korgan may cause his partner to leave him, but he continues to meddle in these affairs, despite the risks.
Danek is easy to spot at the Iron Hearth, with his lifeless stone hand, the result of an injury sustained in one of his many adventures. Coin may be the currency of the land, but Danek knows that the real value lies in the secrets buried with the dead, and he is always eager to share his knowledge and experiences with those who will listen.
