Uodon is one of the most famous cities in Tor'Saarn, and home to the world famous North March Markets. It is the Largest of Hyeros's cities and hosts stalls all year round.

Culture

Udon hosts the North March Markets during the festival of Kilric, a time of celebration and gift-giving amongst both the Hyerosians and the Seltien. In these markets traders from across Tor'Saarn come to offer their wares, selling the rarest and most valuable goods from across Tor'Saarn. These goods are to numerous and varried to list fully, but include: Cold-steel blades, Cold-Brew, Hyerosian flame-finches, Isle jerky, Honeyed crackers and more.

History

The city of Uodon was founded by the Tiorath Hierarchy during the first age, serving as a dock town used in the resupply of military units on their way to the Seltien kingdoms. During this time the earliest stalls opened to entice business from the passing soldiers, which are now run largely by the ancestors of the very same Seltien that the Tiorathan soldiers displaced.   During the second age the city was taken from loyalists by the young Godcaster Kilric, and used both as Hyeros's early capital and as a safe haven for displaced Seltien. The city's capture was instrumental in creating an alliance with Melnir, the only remaining Seltien kingdom.
