Raxora The Consuming Flame
Raxora, 43 years ago was a savage and relentless ruler. A tyrant that washed flame on those that did not submit. For hundreds, she claimed territory over the lands surrounding Mt. Boria. In her youth, she relished in the destruction, the gold, the power, as well as the futile attempts of her capture by Miniriin so called "Dragon Hunters". However with time, these things began to bore her relentlessly. She began to study ancient tomes, read poetry, and listen to music from the lesser beings she had ravaged for centuries, and this ember of curiosity, grew to a burning flame of desire. Desire to see what living so small would be like, desire to water plants, read books, and learn why the gods cherished mortals so readily. So she lived among the puny things that had tried to stop her, to appease her, to worship her for so long, and she began to love it. The moments of quiet, the simple conversations the little ones did, even ruining those who mistook her for a young woman ripe for the picking. That is before she met Kythen, the love of her life. He was a noble soul, one of those types who would get it in their head that they could slay something like her. These types had always made her laugh, though now it wasn't at the other end of a blade, but rather, the other side of a bar room table. Raxora, or rather Xora in her human form met with Kythen often. First as a simple hello, or aid with mundane work, then traveling to far off towns to help him with bounties or jobs. And finally to just be around him, and under a particularly clear night under the stars she had seen change over her many years of life, she made her love for him official.
They lived happy and content with each other for the next ___ years, bearing one child in this time named Paliana. But when High Seeker Maako Tealeaf, and his dragon hunters had finally caught up with Raxora, they used Kythen as leverage and captured Paliana. Raxora with a broken heart was forced to flee, lest she suffer the same fate. Raxora spent the next couple years completely distraught, not knowing whether any of her loved ones had lived. You see, dragons are so long lived, and so sharp in their memory, that years are but moments. Raxora in her mind and heart had still only just fallen in love, even after the 20 years or so she had spent with Kythen. So for her, it was but a moment of true bliss, and a loss for the ages. She wandered Gora for years trying to move past, but could not. So she returned to that little town she had began her new life in all those years ago, and met a young woman named Petra, the daughter of one of her old deceased friends, and became good friends with her. The two became inseparable, and Raxora even revealed her true nature to the young woman, who, despite all odds, understood her plight. With no one left in town for petra to care for, and nothing but a house tying her to her home village, she and Raxora left in search of settling in a new lair. Within Mt. Io they found their new home, where they still spend their days so far, to this day.
