Blue Dragonborn

In the south of Gora, lies the Sparking waist desert, native home of the Blue Dragonborn. Blue Dragonborn are the most rare type of Dragonborn on Tor, thanks to a multitude of factors. Back before Gora was under metallic Dragonborn rule, blue Dragonborn were one of the most advanced civilizations in the whole of Erador (the continent Gora is part of). The blue Dragonborn had a culture of independence, and individual aptitude, resulting in lower birth rates, as well, in part, due to lack of food as compared to other regions. Though the blue Dragonborn peoples were magically inclined, and had marvels for cities at the time, they were very few, and as Karen rule washed over Gora, the beautiful cities and knowledge centers were pillaged, and raided, resulting in the complete collapse of the blue Dragonborn ways of life. In recent memory, it has been accepted that these events were regrettable and more collaborative measures are being taken by the high gems of a few states, the scars of those times are still evident on the life’s of the few blue Dragonborn that remain. Now a days, Blue Dragonborn generally fall into two camps, nomads of the desert, gaining coin for trade by moving shipments for others, as well as guarding caravans that pass through on rare occasions, or city goer’s who have integrated with Karen / goran civilization willingly, begrudgingly, or were simply born in it. Efforts have been made by note-able high gems to help in restoring the great libraries of the blue Dragonborn peoples, and relations have steadily improved over the past couple hundred years between them and the crown.
