The Culling of Pfyrfiburn
The Return of Darkest Winter
The Conflict
Prelude
The prince went to the north to find a cure for the plague of undeath and promised to return which was several years ago. Instead of finding a cure by challenging the Teeth of the Northwind, the prince found undeath in the North. He turns to his kingdom in the service of the king of the undead in order to take the kingdom for the old empire of the dead.
Deployment
When the prince greeted the king he killed him which plunged the city into chaos. Once the king the prince and his death knights turned on the rest of the knights killing everyone. The prince than raised the recently deceased as mindless undead which overran the city.
Battlefield
The battle starts in the throne room when the long waited prince assassinated the king but most of the fighting was down throughout the city. If can be called a fight since the attack was unexpected the forces and citizens were not prepared for an attack.
Outcome
The prince and his two knights kill everyone living in the city and rebuild the kingdom as a kingdom of the dead by moving some forces to the cities.
Aftermath
The forces from the city are moved throughout the continent to take it over. They succeeded in taking over Pfyrfiburn Judtschlö and striking a heavy blow against Quersquepre.
Historical Significance
Legacy
Once the city was taken by the forces of the undead it has been ruled by undead factions for the past few decades changing hands from the prince to one of his mindless lieutenants who was able to regain her mind and senses. Since the lands have once again belonged to the dead this battle has been credited in bringing about another Darkest Winter where the dead rule over the living.
