Samsara the Evenhanded

In the period where the warbands were rampant following the end of the Arcastorms, Samsara was a wall guard for Ars Silica. The people starved as their fields burned, the guard were as monstrous as the orcs they fought, and the dwarven lords of the city did nothing to stop any of the atrocities. First a leader of men, Samsara led by example and encouraged the city guard to be better. After surviving multiple assassination attempts, Samsara found herself one of the Ascended, with the power to force the change she wanted to see in the world.
Her efforts created the Silic Knights, an order imbued with the power and desire to do what was right. Each of the knights was nearly immortal, ageless, and a man of spotless honor in Samsara's eyes. As a non political force, the Silic Knights policed the slums and stopped crime even against the city's will. All was well, until Samsara began complaining of strange dreams.
Samsara obsessed with the plight of the other Great Cities, whose people were not liberated like those of Silica. She raised an army and marched to liberate Ars Magne, even if they fought to stop her, and her aggression was only stopped by the Godhunter.
