Jamila Badr is a striking woman with silver hair and moonlight-hued robes. Her mastery of lunar magic allows her to manipulate shadows, influence tides, and even shapeshift into nocturnal creatures. As the Moonbinder, she ensures Fluidan’s security during the night and gathers intelligence through her vast network of spies. She works in direct opposition to the House of Flowers .

Born into an aristocratic family, Jamila found her calling under the full moon when she accidentally transformed into a desert lynx. Recognizing her talents, her family sent her to study with the Bahtim, where she mastered her abilities. Her loyalty to the Sultan stems from his role in uniting Fluidan’s diverse communities, a cause she holds dear.

Jamila is fiercely devoted to Sultan Lago, often acting as his shadowy protector. She believes the Sultan represents the soul of Fluidan and is determined to safeguard him from both physical and political threats.
