Klunk

Klunk is a Mutant, hybrid of a cat and a porcupine, and is Michelangelo's pet.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Klunk is mutant cat with size changing abilities. In his small form he appears as normal long haired orange tabby with a white belly and green eyes. He has porcupine quills in his fur, which are smooth and soft to the touch when he is relaxed, but can spike up and stick into the skin when he's agitated.

Special abilities

Klunk's ability allows him to change size, able to grow up to 12 feet in height if he is threatened. He is also covered in sharp spikes that not only defend him, but can be flicked out from his tail.

Personal history

Klunk was a normal stray cat that had wondered into the Rockefeller Contamination Zone on a stormy day to seek shelter, when it was splashed with mutagen contaminated water that had overflowed from the Old Forest Reservoir. Because the water was so diluted, Klunk wasn't severely effected by it, but he did develop spikes like the porcupine he'd tried to fight earlier, as well as the ability to change size.
Klunk was drawn to the Abandoned Park after Karai shot a flare into the sky, and was attacked upon her and The Foot spotting it, conveniently saving the turtles from being captured or killed. The large animal was too much for the soldiers to handle so they fled.
Mikey then adopted Klunk as thanks for saving their lives.

Personality

Klunk is a generally well tempered, self-sufficient cat. He's very affectionate to his people about without being too needy. He seems to prefer spending time around mutants rather than humans, and will take a while to get acquainted with a human.
Klunk is an outdoor cat and prefers to wander around outside and explore, often finding ways to break out if he is cooped up too long. He'll hunt for his own food even if he has food waiting for him at home, and frequently brings home 'gifts' to the boys after a successful hunt. He always knows his way back home no matter how far he wanders off.
He is loyal but also prefers to do his own thing. He won't learn tricks and ignores disapline.

Relationship Reasoning

Mikey is Klunk's favorite person and spends the most time with him. This is mostly due to how much time Mikey spends with him and takes care of him. Mikey takes the primary responsibility of feeding and caring for Klunk.
