Amali is usually around once a week to have a chat and buy a couple of goods her farm can't produce. That, or lately she'll send that nice Rien fella to collect groceries for her. None of them have been in for a while. I hope they're all doing okay.

Amali Tuana is a farmer, living a few hours south of Sinofis with her husband, Dalen Tuana. She is friends with many of her neighbours, as well as individuals who by all rights she shouldn't know, like Rien Ayulidan.

Personal history

Amali was born to a well-to-do farming family as the fifth of five siblings. As the youngest, she was able to watch all her siblings work on their farm, and she jokingly claims developed a keen sense for management as a result. From a young age, she helped her family handle some of the logistics, and would often travel with her father to the market to help him sell his goods, alongside a few of her siblings.

Due to her well off family, and her looks and charm, she was considered to be a very eligible bachelorette for many years. When she finally announced her engagement to a guy named Dalen, its joked the half the single people in the township cried. After her wedding, which was attended by a lot of locals, her family bought her a small farm to settle down on.

Much to her frustration, the farm has not gone well. Many of her harvests have come up far short of expectations, as lowered as they were due to a bout of drought which struck the area. Rumours spread that her harvests were failing due to her husband spending more time drinking and cheating on her than helping on the farm, claims which the two flatly deny.

Things seemed to improve after Amali hired the services of Rien Ayulidan, a Skarhan for-hire farmhand, though whether her harvest would improve as a result isn't known yet.

Amali's family are not nobility, but are a well known fixture of the middle class, having prospered following the Vosti Civil War. Farms attached to members of this family are found all around Sinofis, as well as further east into towns like Blonmosh.

Her husband Dalen is the son of Vosti immigrants and was not particularly well off, though his family are admired in Blonmosh for their hard working attitudes.
