The Acropolis Consortium of Magi

Featured initially and unnamed in Oops! All Familiars, the Acropolis Consortium of Magi is a wizard school in the capital city of Acropolis. It is also mentioned in The Foe of Many Faces Returns, with a focus on the School of Necromancy at the consortium and the Archmage Countess Olympia Mallinger (see: The Foe of Many Faces Returns NPCs), her role in the attempted revival of the lich Vecna, and her ascension to the role of archmage. It is also briefly mentioned in the backstory of Dr Note, who attends the consortium as a PhD student.

Scrying Mirrors

Established in Oops! All Familiars, there are scrying mirrors that are set up in common areas of the school. These mirrors record what happens around them for up to 12 hours and anyone with enough clearance may cast a spell to review what was seen. These mirrors were developed after somebody stole books on high level necromancy and liches in 41 AL. These mirrors are not in more private spaces such as offices or classrooms.

• Archmage Olympia Mallinger (see: The Foe of Many Faces Returns NPCs) - former archmage and dean of necromancy and evocation at the consortium as of 150 AL
• Dr. Professor Profenroptorten (see: Oops! All Familiars NPCs) - a powerful enchantment wizard and teacher of the advanced mathematics of enchantment and illusion magic class
• Janus Cosades (see: The Foe of Many Faces Returns NPCs) - former dean of necromancy; killed by Olympia Mallinger before 145 AL

Oops! All Familiars

• Though the entire oneshot technically takes place in the city of Acropolis, the city is not described as everything happens inside the magic school.
• The interior of the wizarding school is also described very minimally to allow room for others to do what they will with the layout in the future.
