Jhertalli
Jhertalli (aka Kharli, changing pronouns) is a character played by Jamie (they/them) in Arc 1: Whispers of Redwillow.
Description
Jhertalli is a changeling, and thus has many different physical forms and identities they take on. Jhertalli is 23 year old and generally distrustful of most people, a little paranoid, and altogether a shady individual themself. Their base changeling form is completely devoid of color as most changelings are, 6'3", very slight and thin with fine long hair that's so pale it's almost see through.Kharli (she/her)

Jhertalli was born to a very small community of changelings that lived in the Redwillow Forest outside of a farming village known as River's Flow. They stayed secret and didn't let the village know aboutt hem, although one family of changelings lived in the village as humans to help the community get supplies and trade more easily. When the village discovered them, they tried to wipe out the community and almost succeeded; Jhertalli was one of the lucky few who got away, aided by the Redwillow Forest itself. As such, they have a special connection to the forest. They were 16 when that happened and don't know if anyone else got away. Since then, they've been working as a spy/information service for hire. They do so under the guise of being a small crew, seen above. They also spent a great deal of time in the capital city of Acropolis and joined a group of teens that worked together in order to survive. Around 3 years into their partnership, they found out Jhertalli was a changeling. Kriel (human man), Fard (human man), and Garlt (dwarven female) were three that did not like that Jhertalli was a changeling and tried to kill them in their sleep. The fourth, a female halfling rogue named Pola who was the first person Jhertalli had met did not mind they were a changeling. After that incident, Jhertalli left the group to work alone. As of Arc 1, Jhertalli is coming to the village of Fletcher as Kharli in search of other changelings in the forest around that area.During Arc 1
Jhertalli spends the entirety of the arc disguised as Kharli, and spends a great deal of time being paranoid of Shalis Kerny Laurence Emanuel and his actions. Once in the forest, Kharli has an obvious connection with the trees that whisper around them and actually reveals her changeling nature by accident to Cadence and Azriel. She heard the voices of her family when she encountered the Altered Gibbering Mouther and saw visions of her community's destruction when engulfed in the fog. After that, she distances herself from the group and goes farther into the forest to gain answers.
