Personal history

Selene was born to the cousin of Dardan X. She was found to have high scholastic aptitude at a young age and so attended the Academy of Bel-Zargon. There she soon graduated to the tower as a master wizard. When Dardan went mad and started killing his heirs, Selene went into hiding, returning years later at the head of an army of Kaian soldiers and wild-elves. She overthrew the mad king Dardan X and sealed him in the earth with her magic. Though her power was great, some of the nobles resented her treatment of the Kaians as equal to the Zaru. In the third year of her reign, these tensions escalated into the Zargonese Civil War.

Education

Full five years at the Academy of Bel-Zargon, plus two at the academy's tower studying the Realm of Forms.
