The Frost Gate

The Frost Gate is a secrect gate created by Queen Oonagh to travel to the Unseelie royal family's cottage. You can only go through the gate with one of the three keys.

From the books:

Niamh stomped in her snowshoes to my side and gasped when she saw the beautiful ice structure in front of us. Symmetrical fractals of curling, feathery frost blossomed out from an arch of golden ferns and sprigs of red berries coated in ice. Lazy little specks of frost danced in the wind, making the whole structure glow with sparkling motes of light.

Niamh reached out her hand, and a tiny crystal snowflake landed on her mitten-clad fingers.

“King Ulf told me that your mother made the Frost Gate.” I watched her face as she stared up at the gate. “Her magic with ice wasn’t as powerful as Moriath’s, but she loved crafting. This might be the only work of hers that escaped her sister’s jealous destruction.”

Location: Northwestern side of the Unseelie Kingdom, in a hidden valley in the Unseelie Kingdom, a twenty minute hike from the royal hideaway cottage.
Appearance: An arch made of ice and decorated in frost, golden ferns and red berries with specks of frost floating around

Keys: Four amulets made of frosted ice, each with a golden leaf in its center, strung on leather cords. Currently in the possession of Neve, Kylian, Estrid, and Miss Chloe
