Gods Among Men
The land of Tilvera revolves around the religious beliefs and practices that have been tradition for thousands of years. The influence of major pantheons can be felt in even the most isolated hamlet just as much as the greatest cities. Secret cabals and cults haunt the people, worshiping demons and devils from the shadows either as rebels to society, or as catalysts of a greater evil.
The Pantheon of Skopun
The primary religious belief of Tilvera, The Pantheon of Skopun is recognised and followed to some extent by every race and civilisation in Tilvera. While each race has their own interpretations of these characters, they all trust in the writing and guidance that they represent. Often represented as a familial unit, each member of the pantheon covers a core element of emotional or metaphysical belief.- Lifiosil; the goddess of life, and mother of all gods.
- Daevasus; the god of death, and father of the pantheon.
- Xanos; the goddess of knowledge, the eccentric older daughter of the family.
- Emagi; the goddess of war, a cool-headed judge, and twin sister of Xanos.
- Gyarus; the god of nature, an unforgiving and relatively detached member of the pantheon.
- Irax; the goddess of storms, both calm and raging, twin sister of Gyarus.
- Ljosar; the goddess of light, enjoys isolation but is very connected with the followers of the pantheon.
- Brorgo; the god of trickery, a fan of harmless mischief but has a reputation of naivete.
