The Leviathan Dragons
Second to the great Pantheon of Skopun, a second series of deity level beings are present throughout the multiverse. The Leviathan Dragons are a collection of demi-gods that represent the twelve elements of the cosmos. After a great conflict many ages past, they were all banished to their elemental planes as punishment for attempting an uprising against The Skopun. This banishment has led to the worship of these dragons to be outlawed in most of the civilised world, however there are still a selection of cults and people who have their whispered words.
A large number of the dragons are looked down upon by The Skopun as traitors to the pantheon, however there are a few that were allies to them, and are respected among The Eight, as well as the mortal races. While these dragons aren't necessarily evil, their worship is still frowned upon in Tilvera.
Mythology & Lore
A large amount of the history of the Leviathan Dragons is interwoven with the mythology of the Skopun themselves. After their creation by the gods, they very quickly found themselves under the wish of more power and station, leading to the great war. Upon their defeat, they were each banished to their elemental planes and their power significantly limited.
In more modern history, their presence isn't felt widely. A handful of cults still worship the Dragons but the common folk wouldn't know the deeper history of the group.
