Pureblood vampires, those who were part of the group that drank the Sphinx's blood, are forced into an unending hybernation.

A vampire hunting society had arisin, and the vampire hunting fever hit so bad that normal humans were caught up in the massacure. The only surviving Arch from the war, Ananda, Arch of Water, saw this as just plain bogotry and forced the vampire hunters to stop. She convinced the purebloods to go into hybernation as a way to save their species. She perfected the spell and hid the vampires all over Tilandrial.
