The Soul Takers were a former assassins guild and thug like troop that emerged from Sibi. Skilled hunters, trackers and fighters. The Soul Takers were unique in that they took the Soul Arms of those they killed as trophies to keep and as proof they completed their jobs. They then broke down these Soul Arms inside one of the many lava forges of Sibi to add to their own armour or weapons, often giving them a strange rusted look in their appearance. Many believe that this use and desecration of Soul Arms drove many members mad, though they did so nonetheless.
The Soul Takers notably took part in the attack on The Wendel Family but arguably lost the most in the fight as their leader was killed in the subsequent betrayal of the three groups.
This scattered the Soul Takers for many years. Turning them into a loose set of beliefs and fanaticism... though, after recent threats towards The Ilustraie Family , there is a new fear of a re-emerged Soul Takers with a new leader working out of Sibi once more.
