The Coven are not an organised faction but, rather, an umbrella term for the pirates that find themselves using
The Islets of Thalasia as a base of operations, as many do.
This umbrella term is used for a simple reason, the Coven are the only reason that pirates have not been entirely wiped out by the
Thalasia navy as the coven have inserted fortified towns, forts and defences across the islets and offer men, protection and respite for those that are willing to sacrifice a portion of their earnings to
Queen Falina who controls the Coven.
Members of the Coven can be identified for the black ribbons on their arms, denoting their rank, a code language they use and often for being well-equipped for pirates due to making use of the coven's smiths and carpenters to improve their equipment and lethality.
