Draven Canneth is the current overseer of the recently formed Soul Analysis programme in the The Paradosi Education Centre, a former teacher and student at the education centre, Draven was a brilliant scholar who, despite having no magical talents of their own, were obsessed and fascinated by the nature of spells and the soul.  This scholarly talent allowed him to climb the ranks in the Education Centre until he became an esteemed teacher on arcanum, the theory of magic and the history of mages.  It wasn't until his visit to The Oracanium that Draven found a new lust for learning about Soul Arms and their links to people... study of the soul is, after all, almost as compelling as the study of magic. Draven spent years studying the tomes in the Oracanium before returning to the Education Centre and running courses and sessions on Soul Arm theory. When Carivel, specifically Cullen Kinslayer and his estate, announced investment and funding into the Soul Arm Analysis Program it was natural that Draven would be involved... when he became the announced overseer it was rather more surprising due to Draven's lack of business accumen or understanding of the politics and publicity surrounding funded Paradosian projects... something he still deeply struggles with.  Draven is an elderly Tabaxi with a constant limp who wears the robes of the Education Centre and has light tan coloured fur with a black spot over their left eye.  Draven's Soul Arm is a silver breastplate they wear over their robes, the breastplate is emblazoned by a jagged and angled dual helix.
