Tauriel is the human owner of Second Soul Arms Prosthetics, the largest supplier and manufacturer of prosthetics in Anotheros and wider Thysia. Tauriel is a portly human who makes a habit of wearing black suits and left their life of education and inventing behind to become a true man of business. They wear a monocle and carry a pocket watch on their person at all times, the pocketwatch is rusted and cracked, the gift their own master left them when they ended their apprenticeship. As an inventor, Tauriel developed a talent for prosthetics with a focus on them being an improvement on flesh and bone, they found this passion after losing their hand in an accident involving a blacksmiths forge and forging their own replacement that they used to improve their own abilities as an artificer. Tauriel's true strength however, lied not in their work but, rather, their ability to sense a niche market. The workers revolt of Diamond-Crest acted as a perfect space for them to build a space from where they could forge a business and factory with an endless demand... Anotheros itself was a good spring board with it's disregard of safety laws and the risks inventors took before he then began sponsoring war efforts and conflicts between nations, leading to immense profits as injuries built and allowed him to increase the price of quality prosthetics more and more.  Tauriel's greed for gold and desire to capitalise on selling his products as well as the treatment his own workers receive has led to him being reviled in Anotheros but he has done well to shrug off the hatred surrounding him in favour of constantly increasing his own stock and power. Armaus Tauriel's Soul Arm is an iron ring that has miniature gears working through it and acts as a spellcasting focus for his artificer abilities.
