Personal history
Eadric was squire and ward to the Briar of Dell for nine years prior to the Black Famine Rebellion which began in the spring of 93 AF. He was known as a capable and dangerous tournament competitor and was knighted on the Crownfield Lists by the young nobleman he defeated in the grand melee, Redwald am Bimmin, who was a year Eadric's junior.
When Eadric's father, Eadwald am Mollus, committed his sword to the rebel forces, Eadric was named an aide de camp to Josso am Maxalli, the de facto leader of the rebellion after the death of his father. On three separate occasions, Eadric distinguished himself fighting alongside Josso.
Then, in the fall of 96 AF, Eadric's father was wounded by an arrow through his neck. The injury was severe and quickly became infected. Upon Eadwald's death in October of 96 AF, Eadric was named Baron of Minsloth and took full command of all barony forces committed to the siege of Northridge. When the last defenders surrendered to Josso and he was proclaimed King of Imesse, he made a special point of doing the great honor to Eadric of anointing him Baron at the celebration.
