Eadwald am Mollus (ehd-wald)
Lord Baron Eadwald am Mollus
Eadwald am Mollus was the fifth Baron of Minsloth of the House of Mollus. He ruled as Baron from 93 AF to his death in 96 AF during the Maxalli Rebellion against King Thane am Mykalli.
Eadwald was a gifted leader of men and an excellent battlefield tactician. He quickly became a close and trusted member of Josso am Maxalli's inner circle of commanders and advisors. He won significant victories for the rebel forces, most notably at Norton and Kington in the summer of 96 AF.
Eadwald was wounded by an arrow in the neck in late September of 96 AF at the Battle of Florick. Despite careful aid and many attempts at healing, the wound became hopelessly infected and he died on the 7th day of October in the city Florick.
He was succeeded by his 26-year-old son, Eadric am Mollus, who was anointed as Baron of Minsloth by King Josso am Maxalli himself.
