Emperor Hotoke Enenra Ashida (a.k.a. Elf Drinker)
Emperor Ashida Hotoke Enenra, Elf Drinker was thrust into his position at a relatively young age after the assassination of his mother and father at the hands of the Elves. This sparked within him a hatred for the Elves and a desire to have them exterminated.
After the great example of rule his mother had provided, Hotoke focused solely on revenge. He ruled with an iron fist, allowing none to sway his goal to avenge his parents. Zealous and passionate, Hotoke was often at the front lines of the battles he ordered - bathing in the blood of the savages he despised. Scarred and hardened, Hotoke was not an attractive specimen for an Emperor; however, he was certainly an imposing one.
In Hotoke's last battle, he faced Aywidreithen the Scaled Demon - the fanatical ruler of the Elves. Hotoke fought with great fervor - hoping to end the Elves once and for all by toppling their leadership. During their duel, Hotoke carved out one of Aywidreithen's eyes, leaving him permanently scarred. However, this left Hotoke exposed enough for the Scaled Demon to mortally wound Hotoke before Hotoke's men were able to drag him away from the losing battle to their war camp. It was there, in the Emperor's war tent, that Hotoke used his last breaths to curse the Elves and vow to never rest before their assured destruction.
Throughout the majority of his 177 year reign, Egra waged war against the Elves. It is estimated by Egran scholars that Hotoke's campaign resulted in the death of 85% of Egran Elves. These Elven numbers have remained small - managed by future Emperors and their concerns for the Egran people.

Physical quirks
Midway through his life, Hotoke's hair took on magical properties where his hair seemed to mimic flame or smoke - rising from the top of his head in a defiance against gravity. Likely a side-effect caused by his countless battles with Elves - specifically Elven Magicians, this only emphasized his already intimidating appearance.

Hotoke wielded Abrol the Elf Drinker as the Sword of Egra during his rule - thus granting him his title as well as his keen ability to slay the Elves he hated so much.
