Magical Secondary School and Sixth Form
Structure
The Board of Governors make the policies for the school.
The Head teacher is responsible for the day-to-day running of the school.
The Head of House for each house is responsible for the students in each house.
The teachers are responsible for educating the students.
The school maintenance team (caretakers, cleaners, cooks, school nurse) are responisble for the general upkeep of the school building and students.
Public Agenda
They educate the young Magical people of the country and are the only magical boarding school in the United Kingdom that also includes a Sixth Form/College. They are also one of the few magical schools that teaches both GCSE and GCME subjects as they believe that this is the best way to ensure their students are able to take any job they want once they leave.

Same as in lower school, although they are given more freedom to go out into the town instead of having to stay on site.

Sixth Form/College
For their post-sixteen education students are able to stay on at Thornfield for a further two years, this education can be either exclusively magical education or they can choose a combination of magical and non-magical subjects. The A-level provision is covered at a state sixth form in the next town over which has a partnership with the school. Students will spend two days over there studying their non-magical subject and the rest of the time at Thornfield Castle studying their magical subjects.
