Structure

The Board of Governors  make the policies for the school.

The teachers are responsible for educating the students.

The school maintenance team (caretakers, cleaners, cooks, school nurse) are responisble for the general upkeep of the school building and students.

Public Agenda

They educate the young Magical people of the country and are the only magical boarding school in the United Kingdom that also includes a Sixth Form/College. They are also one of the few magical schools that teaches both GCSE and GCME subjects as they believe that this is the best way to ensure their students are able to take any job they want once they leave.

Assets

Thornfield Castle and its surrounding estate are the base of opperations for the school. The village of Thornfield is built on the castle's estate so the school make a small amount of money from the leasehold.

History

The school was founded in 1066AD, following the Norman Conquest of England in the hope of protecting Magic Users from persecution.

Students will spend two days over there studying their non-magical subject and the rest of the time at Thornfield Castle studying their magical subjects.
