Revolution
The party made their way to the Bahamut games, keen and eager to find their chance to compete and take the ritual land. Their NPC's meanwhile, were far more interested in competing for the prize at the end and having a chance to face the Harbingers. But first... the party decided it could be awfully convenient to go through the Light base of Barmswich, while it was on route to Bahamut of course...
The party made their way for the next 4 days to the light base of Barmswich. Darrell convinced them to assault the space in order to secure Flitwick, steal a boat to get to Bahamut and free the many undesirable prisoners in the base. The party spent the next four days keeping watch, preparing for the base and trying to work out exactly what was waiting for them. Aliana unsuccessfully told her mother to stay away and stay safe; it seems Diana REALLY wanted to bond with Aliana now by seeing her daughter at work. The party discussed a variety of different plans to approach including a sniper barrage by Redacted and the spellcasters, dropping Cassius in the centre as a distraction or sneaking in to free the prisoners and fight from there. Eventually, the party settled on a mixed plan. Lux and Cassius entered the fort with Red sneaking behind. They co-ordinated their attacks with Lux causing one of the bonfires to explode, Redacted assassinating a series of Light soldiers and Cassius entering a rage for the battle. After that the party and NPC's joined the fray and utilised magic, martial prowess and tactics to annihilate the Light forces in the base whilst they were confused and in disarray. Only a small number of soldiers escaped and, after the party freed the Barmswich prisoners and told them to go to Flitwick for a safe haven. They set the base ablaze after that, leaving it a charred stone husk of what was once a space for Light naval control and trade. They took some time to rest and recuperate before taking a ship and moving on to the ritual land of Bahamut for the Platinum Games.
