Biin Hejj Character in This Fantabulous Multiverse | World Anvil

Biin Hejj

Biin Hejj [pronounced like "Bin Hedge"] was spawned at the age of 20 on a mysterious 1½-dimensional world in one of the fringe universes already in the process of collapse. He is tall (6'3"/190.5 cm) and lanky--awkward and birdlike in appearance. Flamboyant and gregarious gestures only add to the avian image, particularly when he flails about with arm flourishes. These days his demeanor connotes an erudite stork or an electrocuted chicken more oft than naught. His ice-blue eyes are usually warm and friendly during more lucid moments, but there's frequently a mischievous glint in them. When not working on tools or cooking, he fidgets his hands or feet. His skin is quite white, but not unhealthy. His dirty-blondish hair is cut close to the scalp. Traces of either tool grease or cooking grease stain his hands and clothing, which are otherwise refined. Tinker's goggles rest on either his forehead or hat, if he's wearing one. Sometimes, he brings them down to examine details when he's working. Several musical instruments are seen clinging to him these days, either fastened by straps or strapped on by fasteners. And his fingernails? ...stunningly well kept!

Kiii Birdie Song

Oh come on little birdies, / Oh won't you, pretty please? / You'd think that you would get this / Just like your friends, the bees. //   Just settle down. Get comfy. / Dinner by candlelight. / And listen to my birdy song / To let your love take flight. //     Just like a pair of birdies / Take me under your wing / And give your birdy kisses / While this love song I'll sing //   It's time to think of babies / It's time to lay your egg / We're desperate for some of your chicks / That's why this bard must beg //     We promise no more omlettes / We just want to see you grow / An avian population / In wind or rain or snow //   So spread your wings and get busy / And quickly build your nest / We need to have more birdies / And give some to our guests //     Now do not worry birdies / It could always be worse / I could come up with many more / Of this song's bad verse //   So let's strike up a bargain / And have a chick or two / And I will stop my singing / The rest...is...up... to... *gasp*   YYYOOOOOOUUUUUU!   --Biin Hejj
