First Contact with Xalarin Council

Hypeiron Federation makes first contact with Xalarin Council.

The HF was surprised by the seemingly high technological level of the XC. They still had little idea of XC technology at the time, but it seemed more advanced than many of the other factions. However, the XC destroyed several nearby HF ships in order to make them retreat and show the newly discovered hyperion federation not to mess with their power. Upon noticing the xenophobic nature of the XC, the HF has deployed propaganda, carefully, in attempts to discourage XC cultures from xenophobia. Despite the hyperionites' best efforts to appear non threatening, the XC launched offensives at HF star systems but for now have avoided the core worlds as they did not want to mess with a faction that, from their knowledge, could be significantly stronger than themselves to a very aggressive degree. 

The HF, then, also launched significant efforts to study this newly found possible threat. In order to fight them in the worst case scenario, they would have to understand more about the XC and how they operate and how to counter their forces. At the eve of the first hyperion - xalarin war shortly after first contact, the HF had a significant intelligence advantage, although the war had no concrete beginning date. It could be argued that it started at first contact, some could argue that it never happened in the first place. They have managed to obtain a surface level understanding of XC technology, noticing that they had the ability to seemingly place multiple rooms within a single space, allowing for incredibly compact designs that could maneuver extremely quickly. This knowledge was used against them in various new weapons designed to target all of these different rooms.
