United People of Zatrides

Due to the transparent nature of their population, the United people of Zatrides would always try to hide their soldiers during war. They often made use of guerilla war, sneaking up on the enemy. After all, the irziell evolved for this. Although they were still very visible to thermal imaging, the United People of Zatrides eventually developed a counter, a transparent form of thick clothing that hides the heat signature of the person wearing it.
Irziell also often make for excellent spies, able to go places without being seen more easily.
However as they became incredibly used to stealth on ground warfare, they realised that they could not rely on stealth in space. Many space fights were lost largely because of this. They tried to develop a form of cloaking device but were unable to until they found and joined the HF. Now, however, they specialise in stealth technology and espionage.
As the Irziell likely evolved, seeing that there are several similar, but non-sentient, lifeforms on Zatrides and the lack of archaeotech.
As it is incredibly difficult to see an Irziell at long distances, their culture is different from those of other species. They dont usually eat until right before going to bed because others dont want to watch them digest food. Also, they dont eat if not in a secure location as to not reveal their location to predators. Although that factor is no longer so important, it remained after they civilized. The key exception to this is when the food itself is transparent.
Also their beauty standards are also different, they want to be pretty on the outside as well as the inside because ultimately irziell organs are visible from the outside. They do this using various products that their body absorbs and cleans the interior body tissue. Other parts of irziell culture were effected by other factors of irziell biology. They can change sex, so there is significantly less differences between gender roles. They can also modify their own bodies to an extent, so they may vary in appearance significantly.
