The Fires
A Leosus Federation human musical band.
The Fires were named such as they were formed after a part of the Leosus Ring World had a fire.
By chance, this group of 5 found each other and found out they each played different instruments. They eventually ended up forming this band.
They usually play an alien form of country music despite their origins. They have become quite popular in cultures of the ring world, as well as several nearby locations. Their music is sometimes also played in various distant locations as well such as other galaxies.
One of their most popular songs is about the fire and those who lost their lives as a result of it. The Fires sometimes play concerts in large stadiums that can seat several 10 thousand individuals. Despite this they are not a very popular band by HF standards, due to the extremely large scale of the federation. Their largest concert was in a large structure that was designed with a large hologram projector that allowed them to create various special effects in real time. They would sometimes create special effects relating to fire, especially during one of their most popular songs which is about the fire that caused them to band together. By modern times, this concert was recent implying that the Fires are gaining popularity. They mostly play on the Leosus ring world as that is where most of their fans are located, but have been known to play in many places through the HF including various planets, megastructures and stations. Although the Fires are not an extremely popular band, they have managed to influence the Leosus Federaiton to improve its fire emergency service after the fire happened, which has killed thousands. Now there are large extinguishers and fire hydrants in many locations of the ring world which should prevent any fires from becoming large and destructive. The Fires are sometimes seen as heroes by those that know of this change they helped influence. Had this fire not happened, though, the Fires would never have banded together. At this point, they are very skilled, if a bit old in comparison to other human bands. Not all of their songs are country music, and some involve a lot of skill.
