Soul Race
Sporting event of the Phelke which makes use of the STP, making it very unique around the galaxy cluster.
The participants are sorted into a large number of teams of 2 (one of which should be phelke and the other non-phelke). The sport often makes use of a short distance sprint of about 100 m.
However, before the race starts both sides have to be in their original bodies. They must perform the STP after the race starts. Both team members need to cross the finish to be considered finished. Part of the race is having to adjust to having a new body, so the teams are randomly selected immediately before the race, between species that have never been swapped before.
However, to preserve fairness, handicaps are applied depending on the extremity of the adjustment they had to make, and how 'good' the species is on land.There is a second popular version where there are no teams; participants are STPed through several phelke who do not participate in the race itself, but swap 2 others in a way that allows the phelke to return to their own body.
The idea of the sport has been applied to several others, such as swimming, War - Engineer Games and even alien basketball equivalents.
