Null Grand Artanat Empire
The Void equivalent faction of the Grand Artanat Empire.
The nGAE have somewhat similar traits as their living world version, except it is less 'dystopian' than the living GAE. This is because of rebellions, which are much more successful because of the nature of the void where anyone killed will return eventually. Rebel leaders have convinced many nGAE guards to join them, leading to very powerful rebellions. However, they used their far more advanced technology (due to being a Void faction) to build huge amounts of defence drones which are very difficult to destroy. As such the nGAE is still considered very difficult to overthrow.
They are still enemies of the Null Hyperion Federation, making them also enemies of Null Xadia. Their military then must be incredibly powerful, and they have developed counters to Scattershapes. This was no small feat, but these counters often involve a large railgun with extremely high superluminal velocity. This type of weapon will miss the target most of the time, but will usually destroy a scattershape with 1 shot. These railguns are reserved for scattershapes due to immense cost, and are thus not brought out during wars against only the nHF.
They have also adopted a more nomadic lifestyle where they can move quite easily. This allows them to expand territory in some directions while being destroyed on other fronts (primarily against the aforementioned factions). Now none of the planets they occupy are the ones they originally owned. They were incredibly powerful in the main universe, but now the GAE fights for their lives, and freedom.
