Nu Paqralor System
A star system in the NGC 815 galaxy.
The Nu Paqralor system is now owned or occupied by any faction. However, the system is quite complex. It has a neutron star at its core and is covered by a dense nebula. Gravity causes the gas of the nebula to be rapidly attracted to the neutron star and cause a negative stellar wind. The neutron star progressively gets larger and may eventually collapse into a black hole. Furthermore, the planets in the system can be much hotter than those of ther neutron stars, but have little atmosphere. This also caused every planet except 4 to be slowly reduced in orbital altitude which caused them to collide with the neutron star. No faction occupies it because it is very far from every faction, but it would be highly valuable for the scientific oppurtunities it presents and an effective place to harvest hydrogen gas from the nebula, potentially using a megastructure. Its decay can probably be prevented by using a megastructure that collects material from the neutron star at a rate at least as fast as it colelcts material, providing a constant source of materials. The logistical cost of such an operation probably outweighs the beenfit however, as for example the HF would need to generate enough power from it to offset the cost of hypermatter production. There is also 1 more factor: the nebula is dense enough to block almost all scans from outside the system that are not extremely advanced or high power. This makes it potentially useful as a system to stage ambushes from, an effective defensive perimiter or to house black projects. If any faction expanded enough to take the NGC 815 galaxy, they would likely occupy this system as one of their first.
