N.T.S. Progress

The 2nd massive starship constructed by the Tranal Nomads.
N.T.S. Progress represented a departure from typical TN starship engineering of the time. Rather than having shuttles harvest hydrogen, this ship was designed to withstand the immense gas giant pressures itself and harvest the required hydrogen entirely on its own. For this it used a large, extremely strong pipe that could be extended from the front when the ship is in geostationary orbit. It would also have larger hydrogen tanks.
This allowed it to use the spare hangar space for more living area and a larger amount of smaller shuttles. The Progress, like other TN worldships, had its own conflicts as well. In one deadly conflict, one nation threatened to destroy the entire ship, but it never happened in reality because they were hacked by one of the larger nations on N.T.S. Dawn. This happened over a large habitation section that both sides wanted to keep for themselves.
Like its namesake though, the Progress has advanced the scientific community of the Banfranal race. It has a large amount of laboratories which are used to study everything it comes across. The Progress is less heavily armed than the other 2 worldships of its time though. It would instead rely on an escort.
