Nitar
The leader of the spaceborne Innerworldian subspecies of Harkas of the UAC.
Nitar was born on the Kulallara Belt by a large individual with a mostly blue colouration and markings of an approximately yellow colour. Nitar inherited the blue colouration but not the markings as they were essentially painted on. As they grew, they eventually also became quite large. As Harkas Innerworldians are already large, they can dwarf most other sentient species but cannot enter starships due to their size and physiology dependent on the conditions of space.
Nitar was quite clumsy during the early stages of his life. One time he was nearly killed flying into an asteroid at high speed, damaging their left radiator and head. Harkas healthcare is very advanced though, so he was healed so well that their head and left radiator are almost completely undamaged currently. These many accidents caused them to learn to be more patient and slow down. They are not clumsy anymore.
As Nitar had a bright early childhood (apart from the clumsiness), they earned an education at a prestigious school and became very smart. They dominated almost every test he was assigned and quickly graduated.
In their late childhood and early adulthood, they became interested in politics after hearing about some of the political systems of other Hyperion Federation star nations. With an interest to defend their family and the Kulallara belt, they eventually became its leader and have spent resources on defence. There are a number of defence platforms that Nitar personally ordered constructin of, and the innerworlds have provided many harkas and arkan bioships, as well as a few Troznux.
They are still mostly blue, but have slightly modified their body to have bioluminescent markings in several locations of their body for cosmetic reasons. These can flash different colours in response to different emotions, but will remain roughly yellow. Like most harkas, they can also express emotion through their radiator and sometimes tails. Although the harkas have a lot of recessive genes causing them to sometimes appear entirely different from their parents, Nitar actually resembles their parents much more closely with the exception of the iboluminescence.
Historically, they have been quite easy to anger but anger management courses has helped with this flaw. They can still be triggered by direct insults and such though.
