Jormuangdr - Class Battleship
A very small battleship used by the Anagon Technocracy. This class comes equipped with multiple QCD matter railguns that can easily penetrate most armour of other factions. Although slow because it is very dense, these are also very well armoured. It also has secondary armament comming in the form of a high explosive flak, but the Anagons found this is actually quite difficult, though effective, to kill fighters with. This type of flak cannon overpenetrates like all anagon weapons, but explodes after penetrating 1 m. Those using the flak weapon must be skilled to hit the fighter in the right spot and hopefully trigger a reactor short. This kind of battleship also has a powerul form of ftl travel. It will emit a large energy signature (nowhere near as large as a HF ship) but travel fast. This has given them a bit of a strange rapid strike role where the ship is slow in sunlight. This form of FTL will also alert any nearby enemy starships however. It is not armed with any form of CIWS weapons because they will always overpenetrate and cause little damage. Secondary weapons can be used for this if the penetration depth is set to lower than 1 m.
