Blalb Fighter

Small, hyper maneuverable fighter built and used by the Tranal Nomads.
The Blalb is designed primarily for evasion, with a large number of RCS thrusters and vectored main thrusters. Although it does not accelerate linearly as well, it can perform very fast maneuvers. This will crush most organic species (especially Banfranal), so it is designed to be remote controlled.
It is armed with several large, anti ship missiles. Those hardpoints can be removed and the fighter retrofitted with other weapons if need be, but anti ship missiles represent its most common armament. The fighter also is armed with a large high velocity, rapid fire railgun. It achieves fire rates similar to that of some regular chainguns but with much higher velocity. This is mostly intended against other fighters, but can also damage some ships in weak points. Unfortunately, the shells can simply vaporize themselves against the thick hull of most starships. The technology for this was partly engineered by the Sulethis Republic.
It can be deployed in large numbers thanks to the remote controlled nature, but was designed to be the TN primary multipurpose fighter and has been constructed in large numbers.
