Blab - Class Carrier

A very fast class of spacecraft carriers used by the Tranal Nomads.
The Blab class is often made fun of by its enemies due to its seemingly funny name. However, it is actually highly powerful. The vessel is extremely fast, giving it a good rapid response role and allowing it to project firepower to even longer distances, even faster. They can sometimes impact 2 different battles in different systems at the same time. This is because some of its drones and fighters are equipped with FTL drives. The Blab - class doesnt have any large weapons however. It is fitted with several CIWS weapons, but relies very heavily on escorts.
It also has a large number of fusion reactors. The TN engineers that constructed it even built it so that each fighter occupies its own hangar - so it was nearly impossible to mission kill a Blab class.

Propulsion

It is propelled by a very large number of powerful but small fusion thrusters. This provides an extremely good redundancy, which can dramatically improve the survivability of the ship even when under fire despite it almost entirely lacking armour. These drives are fed fuel from a large number of hydrogen tanks. The TN provides all their starships with extreme amounts of redundancy. A key mobility doubling technology, called Reversible Thrusters, can ensure that every thruster on the ship can help move it at all times, even when facing in the opposite direction of desired travel.

Armor and defense

It has several CIWS weapons on its exterior. These are designed to fire at incoming missiles regardless of direction of approach, covering every angle. It uses a railgun-like weapon that can destroy missiles at very long range, as well as a laser CIWS for general purpose hardkill measures. It also sports several, smaller shield generators
