Akunard Mushroom Forest
A large bioluminescent mushroom forest that formed in the kinilet hollows on Tebburus.
Many mushrooms are massive, sometimes growing more than 50 meters in radius and many more tall. The mushrooms feed off any corpses that exist in the cave. There is a great amount of light from the mushrooms allowing easy sight.
There is also entropy-reversing moss that feed off the heat of underground which allows the ecosystem to sustain itself. Various animal and bug creatures eat it.
Suons discovered the forest during the early Unification War. They thought it looked pretty and fought over it. They eventually realised there was resources such as metal ores that would only be discovered much later. When they realised mining the area destroys wildlife, they set up a conservation area in it. The tribe that lived in it earned material from others in exchange for tourism. This allowed them to expand and eventually mine from other areas and obtain a large military. Furthermore, this area was surprisingly defendable. The larger mushrooms provided cover similarly to a bunker but without needing to construct there. The area is also laid with carnivorous plants that outsiders are not familiar with. The people living there knew very well of this.
