As Eliwrath watches cannonballs sail from behind them and destroy the pirate ship, she realizes there is a bigger threat to deal with...Marrek changing into a werewolf. Eliwrath charges to maintain control and while the fight rages, others hear and start to move up. Meanwhile, Marrek is having an out of body experience and watching the events unfold with Barrak, his demon passenger. Marrek and Barrak barter about helping his friends. Marrek seems to be playing with Barrak, not taking any of it seriously until the rest of the party appears and the fight begins to unfold poorly. In addition, the shadow of the Romeyho appears beneath the ship threatening all lives aboard. In a flash, Marrek makes a decision, a deal is made and the Glittering Prize is safe but the cost is unknown.
