David Current
Early Life
David Current was born to a modest human family in the town of Cogwell. His father, Tide Current, was a stoic man, spending most of his time building his small tech & trinket shop, Current Times. David spent most of his youth helping his father tend to the trinkets needing repair, a trade that his father wanted David to inherit so that when he died David could inherit the business. Tide Current continued teaching David until David's younger brother, Alan, became 13. At the age of 13 it became clear to everyone that Alan was a natural at invention. The items Alan invented garnered the attention of The Grand Coalition, who made a deal with Tide Current to sell the patents for his technology to them. After the death of David's mother, his father spent his time focusing on making sure that Alan got the best education possible and that the business grew. In this time of growth David assisted his dad in dealing with the business and watched it grow to become a world renowned technological corporation.Career
David's career started after the death of his father in 2100, when he would inherit the ownership of Current Times doing his best to grow the business. Under David's control the business slowly grew in profits and developed technology that would make Cogwell a center for development. This time of growth was not empty of its fair share of controversies though. It was found out the David made secret deals with high elves associated with the Brotherhood of Afidorei culminating with a boycott that ended when David came out and publicly renounced his dealings with the Brotherhood of Afidorei. David's most recent endeavor is the research of the veil and a machine that would be able to prevent a reality cascade, keeping the veil from folding.Relationships
