Chalarodon Convert
Halla, Lizardfolk, & Parrot background
Chalarodon is a large, jungle-dominated island north of the Kirinter Imperium. It was part of the Imperium for many centuries but the Drunari conquered it in the Steel Age. Since then the Imperial Chantry has launched countless offensives against the Drunari on Chalarodon and the fighting has been fierce. The Drunari even lost the island in the Storm Age but re-conquered it in the Blessed Age. When part of the Imperium, Chalarodon had a large population of Halla slaves. Many of these (and some Lizardfolk) as well) converted to the Drun and enjoy a much higher status as a result. If you play a Chalarodon convert, you’ll want to read about Drunari beliefs.
You can use this background to represent Riaviani converts as well, since the Drun has had a marked influence there.
Playing a Chalarodon Convert

- Pick one of the following talents: Keen Knowledge: Drun (D4) or Keen Knowledge: Self-Discipline (D4).
- Choose whether your pony is a lizardfolk or a halla. Most converts on Chalarodon are halla, but some lizardfolk also embrace the Drun. If you’re Riaviani, play as a parrot.
