Petit Paix (Peh-tee Pie-ee)
Descriptors: Ancient, Quaint, Verdant
Petit Paix is the last city in the Dechaine Region to still have nobility in charge. It is an ancient city which dates back to the time of the Old Thean Republic and many treasure hunters come to the area to search the old wood south of the city for ruins. Today it is an important trading post between Montaigne and Eisen. The fields of the city were damaged badly as part of the War of the Cross and they have been surviving largely off of trade and hunting in the nearby woods. Now that L’Empereur has closed trade routes through the region the city is suffering.
To the south of the city lies a vast forest which stretches to the Eisen border. Game is rich in the forest and is has brought the city some fame as a place where you can get exotic meats like bear and venison.
