Major Titles

Le Reine (L'Empereur)

Le Reine is is the King of Montainge. Their word is law and their rule is absolute.

Duc

A Duc is a ruler of a region of the country.

Marquis

A Marquis is generally the Lord of a City.

Comte

A Comte is a Lord who owns lands outside of a city.

Vicomte

A Vicompte is a minor landowner.

Baron

A baron is a noble who does not need to be landed. They are commonly given the title for tasks that they have performed rather than inheriting thier title.

Chevalier

A chevalier is a knight. Their titles are almost always given to them during their lives rather than inherited.
