The History of The Zamarrid Adventures so far
Sahuagin - The ancient ancestors of the merfolk it was believed that this entire peninsula was once underwater. The deserts the fill Zamarrid peninsula are scattered with their old ruins some historians believe the entire world used to be underwater, though the religion dictate otherwise. What can be determined is that they used to be incredibly wealthy as an exploration of their ruins finds ancient magical items that are hard to reproduce or impossible to reproduce.
The Ancient Thing (Kenomultum) - A primordial monsters that was driven back by the gods and dragons, It lived here long ago. It died but its bones pollute the sea floor, few bone fragments have been pulled from the depths but those that have made it to the surface have brought ill fortune to any that have touched it.
Current Species & Cultures
Common
Dwarves
strong and sturdy like the rocks that made them, the three dwarven kingdoms, the head, the body and the feet do live not move far from their homes. As dwarves cannot be born, without the aid of one of the three birthing stones, which were shattered from the first stone dwarf made by the god Garron the sculptor. They are known for their superb craftsmanship, boisterous laughter and familial loyalty.
Human
Human are the newest of the gods creations, they started appearing very recently in new places all the older races are unsure where they came from exactly and the gods have remained rather mum about where they appeared from the most popular historical hypothesis is that they were made in some sort of competition between the gods to see who could make the best one, and either the gods forgot about the game or its still ongoing.
Elves
The two tribes, until recently there was just one but when the portals of Zammrrid opened.
- Islander Elves - Tanned and covered in tattoos the islander elves, have made quite a fuss known for being ferocious cultural displays, those that have crossed the portal tell tales of riding sea serpents and a rigid cycle of ruling maintained by challenges of combat prowess.
- High Elves - Mostly located in the forest surrounded by the god mountain the first elves were carved from the tree roots and they've lived a long enough time to consider themselves to be the guardians of the faiths raised to be highly pious from birth they are considered the predominate historians of the world.
Tengu
Living high in the eastern mountains the first Tengu was hatched of an egg from the ancient one Ptoh, having killed their mother the older Tengu despises the gods. The younger generations have grown a more indifferent of the gods. From birth they are trained rigorously in law, warfare and magic to maintain the highest standards and predefined forms, many of the younger generation have rebelled dramatically against this seeking arts in abstract and deeply emotional content.
Rare
Merfolk
The only known settlement of merfolk is under zammarid they are currently, being hunted to near extinction by the imperials. They using sounds as names, when translated out of the merfolk tongue those names are described by their representation.
Orcs
Sometimes referred to as the giant-sprigs orcs are the giants descendants often, their ancestors were shunned by the giant as small as weak, when the giants magic was dwindled they started to birth orcs after the ancient war ended they left their homelands to form their own monasteries across the world. They are reclusive and as old as elves and orc child is rare.
Dragonborn
Dragons are god-like in this world, their powers are easily comparable to the gods. Dragonborn are created from a grandiose tales of dragons choosing an individual and giving them a piece of them, often a scale or shedding. Those chosen manifest aspects of their new master in the form or horns, scales, tendrils or other aspects they only maintain a small apart of their previous forms.

(mixed combinations are human/XXXXX, humans appeared to be incredibly fertile.)

Dwarves
The dwarves are bored they've been stuck in their mountains for so long any taste they get of the outside world excites them.
Dwarves (reactions)
Humans - They lack consistency sure you'll find a good one sometimes sometimes their stuff sometimes their fun, but its a gamble for sure.
High Elves - Exhausting, they act like they are the only old race sometimes.
Islander Elves - Intriguing they have spirit for sure, the water they bring over does wonders for sure.
Tengu - stuff shirt and pompous for sure, barely worth the effort to trade with.
Merfolk - rare sight, quite an oddity
Orcs - Quiet, too quiet, a bit creepy even.
Dragonborn - never seen one, but sure would want to.
Humans
The humans are explorers by nature, sure they all have drastically different goals and tastes but whatever they go for they want to see what someone else has to try.
Human (reactions)
Dwarves - Small, Stout and Loud!
High Elves - So pretty, I wonder what they are thinking!
Islander Elves - I have to get my tattoos like they have.
Tengu - Really fun, if you can get them out of the scroll room.
Merfolk - I wonder what they eat?
Orcs - I wonder if they ever move.
Dragonborn - I'd totally be one if I could, but I don't think they've ever chosen a human before.
High Elves
High elves are meticulous and through, they have formed opinions based on years of information and hate to make any judgement without it. They need to know how the Islander elves came to be to complete their books the other races often can be useful in ancient digs or explorations.
High Elves (reactions)
Dwarves - I wish they would act their age.
Humans - a mystery to be sure, I've never seen two quite alike.
Islander Elves - research is required. no comment.
Tengu - foul things, may the gods protect us from them.
Merfolk - good riddance, may they all die off.
Orcs -a pitiable species.
Dragonborn - I've met few in my years, but they are always so self-righteous.
Islander Elves
This is their first experience with the outside world they are being cautious and looking to study the outside world but are willing to trade.
Islander Elves (reactions)
Dwarves - They ask a lot of questions and they look slow.
Humans - generally agile, quick and motivated they are ones to watch.
High Elves - They appear to have the build and structure but have done, none of what is necessary to prepare for battles. Must avoid relying on them.
Tengu -Intriguing physical skills, if I had wings I would enjoy them for battle.
Merfolk - I had sea horse at home that looked oddly similar to them.
Orcs - They don't speak much, they are likely preparing for combat.
Dragonborn - never seen one, first I've heard of scaled beings talking people.
Tengu
The Via water is valuable, yes but any chance to mess with the god born is a good day.
Tengu (reactions)
Dwarves - shut-ins who rarely leave they mountains, easy to fool.
Humans - These new ones are better than the others, I like their spirit but they often lack focus.
High Elves - too focused, easy to circumnavigate as long as you can distract them.
Islander elves- the via water is valuable, that said uncertain what to make of these new commers
Merfolk - A sorrowful story, if there was more to do I would for if things had been different the same could have happened to us.
Orcs - They understand the wisdom in listening, when they speak its important to listen.
Dragonborn - Born from fervorus dedication nothing can be more deadly.
