Uralakh

The home of the Urgok is a hot world covered in desert, savannah and tundra that has created a relatively harsh world.    Uralakh is locked into a tight binary system with the smaller moon Driwynnand they are in turn orbiting Gilnares.

Geography

This is a relatively flat, consistently hot world with a series of large oceans clustered along the equator but increasingly sparse water the further one travels from the equator. There are few rivers crossing the terrain with most of the water being locked in lakes, outside the central oceans.    The world is separated into loosely defined bands of geography with the coastal prairies and forests being the most fertile as well as where most of the population and industry on the world is located. This slowly gives way to a vast savannah before transitioning to deserts and then Tundra before finally reaching the worlds tiny icecaps. There are smaller areas of localized climate that creates locations outside the norm but for the most part the world can be separated into these distinct areas.   Several large mountain ranges cross the world with there being smaller ranges clustered around the equatorial oceans. As precipitation becomes less and less common the further one gets from the equatorial region, water erosion is almost irrelevant to the erosion patterns and has lead to the mountains in the north being noticeably more extreme.

Ecosystem

The worlds geography lends itself towards a complex and interconnected system of discrete geographical groups. Megafauna nomadically roam the savannahs even as smaller ungulates, primates and birds thrive in the coastal regions with the northern deserts and tundra being inhabited by generally smaller but hardier creatures.

Ecosystem Cycles

Uralakh, likes its sister Driwynn has only a light axial tilt, making its seasons simpler and more intense with a Wet and Dry season being observed over much of the world.

Localized Phenomena

The lack of trees and the general flattening of the world in the north leads to sizable wind/sand storms that can ravage thousands of miles of terrain for weeks at a time.

Climate

The world is hot and arid with more wet and humid areas being found near the larger bodies of water at the equator.

Fauna & Flora

The creatures on this world are incredibly varied but tend to be found in localize, discreet bands of geography that stay relatively consistent around the world.

Natural Resources

The world is mineral rich and offers a great wealth of rare earths and more common metals, making it nearly as mineral resource heavy as Boreas with a quarter of the danger. It also offers a wealth of animal products that place it among the top producers in the system.
