Heaven's Throne

Found in the heart of the Myeneav Mountains, lies Heaven's Throne, a single mountain of incredible size. The size of the mountain is believed to be somewhere around 283 miles long, 150 miles wide, and about 34,000 ft tall (around 6.5 miles). For as long as known history shows, no one has ever returned from the summit of the mountain and such sights from the mountain is a complete mystery. Though the surface of the mountain has no signs of civilization it houses a massive cavern known as The Soundless Cavern and is the seat of power of the The Myeneav Dwarves. Despite this the Myeneav Dwarves make no claim to the mountain, believing that such an action would anger The Nine.

Localized Phenomena

For the vast majority of the year the summit of Heaven's Throne is obscured by clouds. A number of arcane scholars have concluded that such clouds are not normal after numerous attempts to move them using weather magic had no effect during the Dominium of Arcana. Only during the equinoxes and solstices and a few days surrounding it.

Natural Resources

For fear of angering the gods and disturbing the mountain, the Dwarves within the Soundless Cavern do not dig up into the mountain proper and have little to no knowledge regarding what lies within its rocky exterior

History

For as long as can be remembered Heaven's Throne has been a sacred place not just for the dwarves that call the Myeneav Mountains home but any who look upon the massive can tell that there is something unique about it.

Tourism

Every year hundreds of explorers make the journey up Heaven's Throne in an effort to be the first to reach the summit. In the beginning, the dwarves would try and dissuade the explorers but over the years their goal has shifted to selling the explorers as much as they can so that the money is not wasted up there when they die.
