Structure
Grand Mindhunter (GMH)
- Role: Supreme Commander of WAPID and de facto authority on all global psychic operations.
- Responsibilities: Oversees the Planetary Psychic Net (PPN), directs all branches of PSYOP, advises the UN Global Security Board (UNGSB) as an International Subject Matter Expert (ISME) on psionics, and acts as Earth’s primary psychic shield against Mindscape threats.
- Succession: Hereditary, passed down from Alasdair Thorfin MacKidd II. Eligible successors include his direct descendants and those of his two psionically enhanced brothers, Eòghan II (Mindfreak) and Ruairidh (Mind Over Matter).
- Requirements: The Grand Mindhunter must be the most powerful verified psychic on Earth.
The Synaptic Triumvirate are three specialized directors who advise and implement the Grand Mindhunter's strategies across their respective domains. They are known collectively as “The Trium” and are the most powerful psions under the GMH.
- Director of Mental Defense (DoMD): Oversees psychic counterintelligence, psionic threat neutralization, and global Mindscape security operations. Directs all Field Mindhunter Units.
- Mindhunter Field Agents (MFA) are charged with observing and pacifying psychic threats as they arise and hopefully preventing new ones. The DoMD has authority over all MFAs but operates with oversight from the UN Global Security Council, which is wary about deploying Supreme Mindhunters on a whim.
- Mindhunter Supreme: Elite, independent agents who operate solo or with minimal backup. Granted authority to intervene anywhere on Earth to defend the Mindscape. Each is a PPN beacon node in its own right and is among the most powerful Psychics on Earth. Only 70 Mindhunter Supremes exist.
- Mindhunter Senior: Leads multi-agent squads in international operations. Oversees planning, remote viewing, psionic shielding, and psychic engagement tactics.
- Mindhunter Junior: Frontline combat psions trained for direct psychic conflict, Mindscape duels, and anti-memetic warfare. Serve in both open and covert operations.
- Mindhunter II: Specialists in repairing damaged psyches, reweaving fractured identities, and extracting civilians from psychic trauma zones. Blend psionic healing with advanced therapy to prevent Mind Demon Incursions and PPN Damage.
- Mindhunter I: Surveillance and recon experts trained in remote thought-mapping, precognitive threat prediction, and neural aura detection.
- Director of Mindscape Integrity (DoMI): Maintains the structural stability of the Planetary Psychic Net. Supervises PPN infrastructure, psionic engineers, and Mind-Architects. Operates the Mirrorwell at Caer Sgàilean.
- PPN Engineers & Researchers (PER) are charged with maintaining and improving the PPN as well as developing defensive and offensive mental and psionic weapon systems. The DoMI has a responsibility to report any global or large-scale psychic events or anomalies directly to the UN Global Security Council.
- PER Architect: Designs, constructs, and maintains psychic infrastructure. Capable of bending the topology of the Mindscape. Keep the PPN’s thought flow stable across nations and species.
- PER II: Repairs corrupted memory clusters, decodes psionic anomalies, and cleanses psychic malware. Their work resembles digital exorcism.
- PER I: Develops psionic weapons and defenses. Experts in resonance coding, echo disruption, and waveform compression for mental combat use.
- PER Custodians: Safeguards the Thought Archives—an encrypted repository of global dream-data, memory-maps, and historical psychic events.
- Director of Harmonization (DoH): Leads diplomatic relations, mental recovery programs, psychic ethics oversight, and liaison work with magical, metahuman, and alien organizations. Handles trauma remediation, de-radicalization, and spiritual integrity. Point of contact for the UN normally.

However, WAPID finds ICON’s mysticism and decentralized cultural frameworks difficult to integrate into its global psionic infrastructure.
