The Plum Blossom Temple
Partly a sect and partly a spiritual retreat the plum blossom temple is guarded by a strictly neutral order of warriors who dedicate themselves to the School of the Plum Blossom Dance, a terrifyingly effective method of inflicting swift poisonous strikes on a target. They do this in order to guard the Five Elements Pool, a mystic confluence of Qi that greatly increases the cultivation of anyone who bathes in it. A very small number of visitors are allowed to do so each year, thus ensuring the Plum Blossom’s independence. As no one wants to both fight a bunch of assassins and everyone who was waiting for their chance at the pool.
