Titans

Foreign Giants

Titans originate from the continent Gitan Ak, they were discovered not long after the island itself, and their exact nature is still a mystery, although researchers are now positive that they originate from the other side of the Terhikai Gate there, which has been aptly named "Titans Gate". They are all large, most of them larger than giants, which has given parents across the world a wealth of new ways to scare their children.

Races

There are a number of Titan races, and new ones are discovered in nearly every expedition to Gitan Ak, each of them more bizarre than the last.

Clops Titans

There are three known clops races, the Cyclopes were discovered first, and the other two were discovered later, they are all quite simular in appearance, with their amount of eyes as the main difference, in addition to average height.   Cyclops
These are the one-eyed giants of Gitan Ak, they are some of the most common Titans, and they can be found in sizes ranging from eight to twelve meters tall, making them taller than giants on average. They are quite slow, and not very smart, making it not too easy to defeat them. They look similar to giants too, although their large, single eye, which sits on the middle of their face, makes them immediately recognizable. They also have more muscular physiques, and they are shaped like massive hunks of beef. They often have bulbous growths on parts of their body, the bigger they are, the more growths they have. Cyclopes can be alone, or in groups, and they seemingly attack anything that moves, and then eat it, regardless of how hungry they are.   Triclops
These are similar to the cyclops in appearance, although they have three eyes, instead of one, their additional eyes are smaller, and located on the two sides of their forehead, this gives them a much greater field of view, and a sense of depth perception, which is something the Cyclopes lack. They are also bigger than the Cyclops, ranging from ten to fourteen meters in size. They are able to close their two additional eyes, in order to disguise themselves as a regular Cyclops. Besides their improved eyesight, they are significantly smarter than their one-eyed kin, although that isn't saying much. for every fifty to a hundred Cyclopes, there will be one Triclops skulking about somewhere. They are the ones who lead the Cyclopes and push them to attack in a more purposeful manner.   Quinclops
Also called the Kingclops, these are the five-eyed leaders of the Clops races. Their final two eyes are located on the sides of their head, and they are quite large, and they give them a nearly full-reaching panoramic view. They are also the largest, ranging in size from fourteen to sixteen meters. They were discovered long after the Cyclops and Triclops, and their exact rarity has not yet been properly measured, but they have only been spotted on the rarest occasions. They are thought to be at least as intelligent as the corporeal races, but they have not yet been properly studied, so there is much speculation.

Kikrai

These are one-legged beasts with two heads, and long bodies. They have feathers, making them look even more strange, and their tail is lined with sharp spines. Their feet are wide, and they have nine toes, the the three biggest are the ones sticking to the side, and the front, which are vital for stability. They have large snouts with three rows of sharp teeth, that renew regularly, like shark teeth, they use their jaws as a tool, as well as to help them get up, if they fall. They have small pseudo wings, they can't fly, and they don't really flap them, but they help maintain stability, as well as changing direction. Their single leg is very powerful, and their leaps can propel them forward at very impressive speeds, and trying to outrun them is utterly useless. When standing upright they are five meters tall, and fifteen meters long, including their tail.

Gremorae

These are giant lizards that instead of a snout, with teeth have a long beak, with a down curve at the end, with which they tear apart their prey. They are scaley and heavy. They hunt by chasing their prey, they are not very good at long-distance running, but their strong legs provide them with incredible short-distance speed. They secrete poison from specialized pores located all over their body, making it impossible for anything to bite them in defense. Weapon-wielding creatures don't have this issue tho, but still, if you get the poison on your skin, it will burn through, and cause horrible injury, even if it isn't immediately lethal. smaller doses are not life-threatening, but it is still excruciatingly painful. If ingested, it is lethal even at smaller doses. Gremorae poison also keeps very long, which is why it is used in modern poisons, its rarity makes this rather expensive tho.

Titan Hearts

While corporeals, and even mystics, all have very similar hearts, with some small differences, Titan hearts are completely unique. Not only do they have two hearts, they also vary not only in size, but also in the number of champers they have. One of these hearts is always single chambered and is located before the main heart. The main heart can have any number of hearth chambers, the clopes have three hearth chambers, but the Gremorae have six, and the Kikrai has no less than nine.

Heart Crystal

The smaller hearts of Titans, those with but a single chamber, have a rocky bud growing within it, the blood is pumped past it before going to the main heart, it is a complete mystery why Titans have this feature of their biology, but these crystals have entered the market both as a valuable curiosity, and as objects of research, as people search for their purpose, and any possible uses they may have.

Blood

Besides having weirdly chambered hearts, Titans also have strangely colored blood. It was previously thought that all mortal beings had red blood, but the Titans made this untrue, as their blood is a deep purple, almost black. It is a substance that when exposed to the air, quickly thickens and darkens, into a sticky tar-like substance, before hardening completely. This works in a similar way as human blood, where the crust closes the wound, so it can be healed, but Titans blood leaves fleshy growths, wherever the blood hardens, even if it lands in a place where there wasn't even a wound in the first place, including when it lands on another being entirely, such as on a corporeal.
